Men in big North Dakota pot bust bound over for trialDICKINSON, N.D. – Two men accused of having more than 50 pounds of marijuana in their vehicle when they were stopped in southwest North Dakota last fall have been bound over for trial.
Arturas Teras of Van Nuys, Calif., and Donatas Jasiulionis of Seattle will enter pleas later to charges of possessing drugs with intent to deliver.
The Highway Patrol said a trooper stopped the men for speeding on Interstate 94 in Dickinson on Nov. 28, and a drug-sniffing dog found the marijuana.
Officer Travis Holding Eagle said in court Monday that the men told him they were traveling from Washington state to Chicago.
