Grand Forks legislator to announce intentions for secretary of state bidState representative Corey Mock plans to announce his intentions Tuesday on whether he’ll seek the Democratic-NPL nomination for secretary of state.
The Grand Forks legislator, representing District 42, has scheduled a series of press conferences in Grand Forks, Fargo, Bismarck and Minot.
He has been considering the bid for some time and has spoken at various Democratic-NPL district conventions, including one held Saturday in Fargo.
Mock, 25, was elected to the North Dakota House in 2008. The Minot native graduated from the University of North Dakota and currently is the director of the Third Street Clinic, a nonprofit organization that provides access to health care services for low-income residents of Grand Forks County and Minnesota’s Polk County.
