Dragons qualify three for D-II indoor meet

MINNEAPOLIS – The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons track and field team qualified in three events for the NCAA Division II indoor national championships after competing in the Snowshoe Open at the University of Minnesota.

Laquonne Robinson qualified for nationals by finishing third in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.22 seconds.

Kendra Mooberry qualified in the 400 meters with a time of 57.83 seconds, finishing fourth.

The Dragons’ 4x400 women’s relay team comprised of Mooberry, Jill Steinwald, Kristina Anderson and Nicole Hall finished second in a time of

3 minutes, 56.64 seconds, breaking a school record and qualifying for nationals.
