Six fail Cass/Clay alcohol compliance checkSix establishments have failed an alcohol compliance check in Cass and Clay counties.
Eighty establishments were checked at random on Thursday, according to the Safe Communities Coalition of the Red River Valley.
Three failed in Fargo: Chili’s, Main Liquors and the Radisson Hotel.
Three failed in Cass County: Amenia Bar & Grill, Club 94 in Casselton and the Red Baron Lounge in Casselton.
In Fargo, establishments failing for the first time in a one-year period are automatically placed on probation for a year and assessed an administrative penalty of $500.
If they fail again within a year, they are automatically assessed a $750 penalty.
