Stabbing victim found pounding on Fargo doorPolice are investigating the stabbing of a 27-year-old Moorhead man who was found bloody and pounding on the door of a south Fargo apartment building early Friday morning.
The victim, whose name wasn’t released, was taken to Innovis Health. His injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, Sgt. Mark Lykken said.
Officers were called at 4:23 a.m. to a disturbance at the apartment building at 4201 33rd Ave. S.
The caller said a bloody male was trying to pick the lock and buzzing all the apartments, according to the dispatch log.
Police arrived and found the victim had been stabbed in the torso, according to Lykken and Sgt. Bill Ahlfeldt.
Where the stabbing happened is still under investigation, Ahlfeldt said.
Police have not identified a suspect.
The investigation extended across the street to the apartment building at 3420 42nd St. S., but Ahlfeldt said he couldn’t comment on why police were there.
He said a vehicle was impounded in the area, but wouldn’t say why.
