Stenerson becomes Spuds all-time leading scorer

Ashley Stenerson didn't waste a lot of time in setting the record straight.

The Moorhead senior scored an unassisted short-handed goal just 2 minutes, 1 second into Tuesday's game against Alexandria, making her Moorhead's all-time leading scorer in girls hockey. The Spuds won 4-2.

She added another goal in the second-period, giving her 247 career points, pushing her past Tanaya Reitz's mark of 245 for the all-time lead.

Stenerson also has 161 goals for her career, putting her just one goal behind Reitz for the all-time goal-scoring mark.
