Highway Patrol arrests man in meth caseA Washington man was recently arrested by the North Dakota Highway Patrol for possessing 7 pounds of crystal methamphetamine.
The state patrol came across the illegal drugs during a routine traffic stop last Thursday near Casselton on Interstate 94.
Thirty-one-year-old Regino Prieto was taken into custody and charged in Cass County District Court.
Prieto’s arrest also led to a second arrest on Saturday. Guadelupe Navarro, 37, also from Washington, is in custody and was charged with the felony.
