NDSU's top alumni fundraising official arrested on drunken driving charge
Jim Miller, 61, was stopped by Fargo police just after midnight today at the Stop-N-Go at Fourth Avenue and 10th Street North, said Lt. Pat Claus.
Police arrested Miller on suspicion of DUI, Claus said.
Further details of the arrest were not available.
Miller was taken to the Cass County Jail, where he posted $500 bail about 2 a.m.
Miller did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
Miller came under fire this fall for cost overruns with the NDSU president’s house, which the NDSU Development Foundation oversaw.
The foundation is the private fundraising arm of NDSU. Miller has worked for the foundation since 1982.
