West Fargo chamber Executive Director Kent Campbell resignsWEST FARGO - The West Fargo Area Chamber of Commerce executive director and CEO has resigned after a six-month stint on the job.
The chamber announced the resignation of Kent Campbell in a news release at the end of the business day Friday. The release said Campbell “will be leaving to pursue other opportunities.”
“We have accepted Kent Campbell’s resignation and thank him for his directorship these past six months,” board Chairwoman Kathy Lewin stated in the release. “We wish Kent well and thank him for his accomplishments.”
The board will begin a search for Campbell’s replacement, the release stated.
Before taking over the West Fargo job in June, Campbell, a 1985 Concordia College graduate, served in chamber leadership posts in Iowa, Washington state and Minnesota. Most recently, he was a consultant with Woodward Davis and Associates, a community-based economic development firm in Seattle.
