Clean Air Act is under attackI am concerned for the future of the Earth and all of its inhabitants, especially with the attacks on the Clean Air Act that have come from Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska.
Besides Murkowski, the real culprits are lobbyists who are working for the dirty energy companies and spending millions to support Murkowski’s amendment attacking the Clean Air Act, instead of spending money protecting our air and water from pollution.
This amendment is a threat to more than just the inhabitants and wildlife in Alaska because it will have lasting effects on the rest of the planet. The Senate needs to work harder to build up domestic sources of clean energy instead of relying on foreign oil.
I will be watching to see how North Dakota’s senators vote on this issue.
