Dilworth man jailed in alleged BB gun attackA Dilworth man was arrested Thursday, suspected of forcing his way into an ex-girlfriend’s apartment Wednesday night and shooting her new boyfriend with a pellet gun, Moorhead police said.
Jeremy Palmer Pederson, 24, was arrested about 9:30 a.m. at 603 1st Ave. N.W. in Dilworth. He is expected to be charged with making terroristic threats and with burglary, stated Moorhead Police Lt. Tory Jacobson in a news release.
Police responded about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday to 1929 18th Ave. S., where Pederson allegedly shot a black BB pistol at the victim four times, Jacobson said. The pellets broke the skin of the victim’s chest and back. He was treated and released at Fargo MeritCare.
