Camp Grafton gets $2 million to stabilize shoreBISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota National Guard's Camp Grafton training facility near Devils Lake is getting $2 million in federal money for shoreline stabilization.
North Dakota's congressional delegation says stopping the erosion brought on by the steadily rising lake was identified by the National Guard as one the most critical projects around the country.
Sens. Byron Dorgan and Kent Conrad and Rep. Earl Pomeroy, D-N.D., say the money comes from a fiscal 2010 military construction spending bill.
