The North Dakota Highway Patrol said Tuesday that LeRoy Vidal was southbound on state Highway 3 just south of Rugby around 8:30 Monday night when the semitrailer he was driving drifted off the road. The tires went into a ditch and the semitrailer flipped onto its passenger side as he attempted to get back on course.
Vidal, who is from Rapid View in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, was coming from Manitoba and traveling with 45 head of cattle to Lexington, Neb.
A spokeswoman for Rugby's Heart of America Medical Center said Vidal has already been discharged after being held for observation.
