Trade Talk: Starion building new bank locationStarion Financial is building a new bank location in Fargo.
The facility will be in the Urban Plains development at 2754 Brandt Drive S.
It’s planned to open in midsummer of 2010.
The 11,000-square-foot building will have three drive-up lanes and will house insurance investments, mortgage, business and retail banking. There will also be 3,000 square feet available for lease.
It is being constructed to be environmentally friendly and will have greenery on the roof.
The building will replace the Starion branch on Amber Valley Parkway, which is in an office complex.
“It’s always been our intention since we came to town in May of 2008 that we would build our main bank building as soon as possible,” said Jeff Thomas, market president.
