Boys hockey: Late goal propels Spuds to tie with Duluth East

DULUTH, Minn. – Tyler Larson scored a powerplay goal in the second period to help Moorhead earn a 2-2 tie against Duluth East in Minnesota boys hockey action on Tuesday.

Larson started the scoring for the Spuds (4-1-1) with a goal seven minutes, 44 seconds into the first period.

Moorhead faces Bloomington Jefferson at the St. Louis Park Tournament at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
