Former White House staffer named president of Fargo-Moorhead Chamber of CommerceCraig D. Whitney, once an assistant to former Vice President Dan Quayle, has been named president of the Chamber of Commerce of Fargo-Moorhead.
Whitney, 49, was named this morning to replace David Martin, who announced in August that he would not renew his contract. He will begin work in February.
A native of Iowa, Whitney was previously vice president of public affairs for the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce in Arizona.
Most recently he was chief of staff to the director of investment for Cerberus Capital Management, a private investment firm with its headquarters in New York.
