Tamarac to host holiday open houseROCHERT, Minn. – The Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center near here will host a holiday open house from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Special guests include Ojibwe artists Dan Neisen and Wendy Roy. Those attending can also sample foods from nature and shop for unique gifts. Children’s activities are also planned.
The refuge is nine miles north of Detroit Lakes on Highway 34 at the junction of County Highways 26 and 29.
