World War II Honor Flight set for AprilBISMARCK – Approximately 100 World War II veterans will travel to Washington, D.C., on April 16 on the third Roughrider Honor Flight.
Veterans will have the opportunity to travel free of charge to visit the World War II memorial.
The cost of each Honor Flight is $175,000, so program organizers continue to seek funding for additional trips. Donations can be mailed to PO Box 220, Bismarck, ND 58502.
The group currently has applications from 190 veterans hoping to visit Washington in 2010.
