West Fargo teachers, district reach contract agreementWEST FARGO - West Fargo teachers and district officials reached an agreement Monday night in teacher contract negotiations, marking the end to more than six months of talks.
In less than a half an hour, the two sides agreed to 3.26 percent increases in overall teacher compensation for this year and a 5.35 percent increase in teacher compensation next year.
"It's been a long six months or more," said lead teachers union negotiator Dan Wolf. "We appreciate the board's willingness as well to finally come to an agreement."
