College soccer: Ryan’s two goals too much for Western Illinois

MACOMB, Ill. – Two Quin Ryan goals proved enough as North Dakota State doubled up Western Illinois in Summit League women’s soccer 2-1 on Sunday.

Ryan netted her first goal into the bottom right of the net off a service corner kick at 9:12 on the first half. Abbey Stratton assisted on the goal.

Ryan then hit the game-winner at 46:26 with an assist from Candice D’Arcangeli.

NDSU’s Kalani Bertsch made four saves in the win.

NDSU (7-6-2) returns to Fargo for their final two games this weekend. They host Southern Utah at 3 p.m. Friday, and take on UMKC at noon on Sunday.
