Teenager sentenced for Grand Forks store robberiesGRAND FORKS, N.D. – A teenager has been sentenced to four years in prison for robbing convenience stores in Grand Forks.
Police said 19-year-old Gypsy Watts and another man, who remains at large, used golf clubs to rob the two Cenex stores in April. Watts also was charged with two other store robberies.
Watts pleaded guilty to three counts of robbery. Prosecutors agreed to drop one count of robbery and a terrorizing charge involving a threat to a clerk. The plea agreement called for four years in prison and six years of probation.
