This is the 13th time and fourth year in a row that the 119th Wing has earned this honor.
Numerous achievements contributed to the 119th Wing’s selection, including a 98 percent overall compliance rating from the Air Combat Command’s 2008 Unit Compliance Inspection. The wing’s new, first-of-its kind mission at the Minot Air Force Base, where it established the largest Air National Guard Security Forces Squadron, and the ongoing extraordinary flying record of 163,193 hours and 102,177 sorties without a mishap, including 20,433 hours flying the MQ1-A Predator, an unmanned aerial system, also contributed to earning the award.
