Fargo police respond to stabbing incidentFARGO – Two men were treated at a hospital for an altercation Friday night in which one man was assaulted with a club and in turn stabbed his assailant, police said today.
Police were called to a disturbance at an apartment in the 800 block of Oak Street North.
A man had forced his way into an acquaintance’s apartment, and assaulted the resident with a club, Sgt. Jeff Skuza of the Fargo Police Department said.
The resident then stabbed the intruder. Both men were treated at MeritCare Hospital for injuries police described as non life-threatening. Names and condition reports were unavailable.
