Big Iron Farm Show to offer health screenings, women's brunchNorth Dakota LIVING is coordinating health screenings at Big Iron Farm Show, which runs Tuesday through Thursday at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo.
Health screenings and information services will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the horticulture building each day of Big Iron. The screenings include cholesterol and glucose tests, blood pressure checks, and information on injury recovery and heartburn treatment.
The charges are $15 for cholesterol screenings and $5 for glucose screenings. Blood pressure testing is free.
United Blood Services Bloodmobile will be on site to accommodate blood donors.

The Big Iron Farm Show’s Women’s Day has been set for Wednesday and will feature a 10 a.m. brunch at the Best Western Doublewood Inn, 3333 13th Ave. S. in Fargo.
The “Fun Bus” will transport attendees from the West Fargo fairgrounds to the Doublewood Inn beginning at 8 a.m.
Sandy Buttweiler from KFGO radio will emcee the event, which will feature food, entertainment and a style show.
