Cass Sheriff's Office now looking for different type of car that may have been used in hit-and-run crash with bicycleThe Cass County Sheriff's Office is now looking for a different type of car it believes was responsible for a Saturday hit-and-run crash with a bicycle rider on Highway 81 north of Harwood, N.D.
The Sheriff's Office says it received the wrong information from local body shops in reference to the type of car mirror that was left behind at the scene of the crash, which temporarily hospitalized the woman riding the bike.
The Sheriff's Office is now looking for one of the following types of cars that is red in color and missing an exterior rear-view mirror:
1995-2000 Chrysler Cirrus
1995-2000 Dodge Stratus
1996-2000 Plymouth Breeze
The investigation into this crash has yielded many tips and possible suspects, according to the Sheriff's Office. Anyone with information or a tip is asked to call (701) 241-5800.
