Newborn doing well after liver transplantAiden Shea, the West Fargo newborn who received a liver transplant, remains in critical but stable condition with good blood flow to his new liver, his aunt said Thursday.
Shea, born Aug. 6, received part of his father’s liver in a transplant performed by a team of surgeons at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Chris Shea, Aiden’s father, was able to walk Thursday and is expected to be released from the hospital in four or five days.
