Radisson official unsure if Fargo hotel affected by computer breach

It remains unknown if the Fargo Radisson Hotel was among those affected by a computer breach that occurred between November and May.

Minneapolis-based Radisson Hotels and Resorts has issued a letter to Radisson customers stating that computer systems of some hotels in the United States and Canada were accessed without authorization.

Guest information, including credit card numbers, may have been accessed during the intrusion. Social Security numbers were not included, the company said in a printed news release.

“We’re still in the midst of the ongoing federal and forensic investigation,” David Chamberlin, company spokesman, said Thursday.

“We haven’t confirmed or denied any of the various hotels,” he said.

Radisson Hotels said it appears the computer attack involved an outside source.

The company is offering free credit-monitoring services for one year to eligible guests who stayed during Nov. 1 to May 31 at certain properties.

To be eligible, guests must enroll by Nov. 18 by calling (866) 584-9255.
