Trade Talk: New Fargo Billiards and Gastropub opens SundayThe 28,500-square-foot Fargo Billiards and Gastropub opens Sunday at 3234 43rd St. S.
The new business, which employs about 50 people, will offer 58 world-class pool tables, a 3,000-square-foot raised lounge, a full-service restaurant and a coffee bar, owner Mike Page said.
The Gastropub restaurant seats 60 with additional seating in the lounge area.
“We also have private rooms to be rented by groups,” Page said.
Hours of operation will be 10 a.m. to 4 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 6 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Dinosaurs & More, museum closing
West Fargo’s Dinosaurs & More and Discover Museum is closing at the end of August.
Gary R. Olson of West Fargo opened the Dinosaurs & More store in November 2006 and the Discover Museum in July 2007.
He is moving to Kansas with his family while his wife pursues a graduate degree.
“It has been great for me to have shared my passion for science with the many people who have visited our store,” Olson said in a news release.
Olson spent several years assisting with dinosaur digs before opening Dinosaurs & More and the Discover Museum. He also led digs in South Dakota during his time in business.
Store hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and closed Sunday.
All store items are 25 to 30 percent off. The display cases, racks and shelves are also for sale. The last day of business is Aug. 29.
DMS Health signs with Amerinet
Fargo-based DMS Health Technologies has signed a three-year agreement with St. Louis-based Amerinet, a national group-purchasing organization.
DMS is a national mobile diagnostic imaging service provider that specializes in delivering products and services to the health care industry.
DMS Health Technologies will provide Amerinet members with mobile diagnostic imaging shared services and interim rentals of mobile imaging products.
The agreement includes MRI, CT, PET/CT, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, cardiac/angio, bone densitometry and digital mammography services.
DMS is an operating company of Otter Tail Corp. based in Fargo and Fergus Falls, Minn.
Chamber youths to Pay It Forward
More than 50 students from 10 area schools will participate in a community service road trip through the Chamber of Commerce of Fargo Moorhead Youth Leadership program and Students Today Leaders Forever, an organization of students who engage in servant leadership to create positive life experiences.
The five-day service trip starts Monday and will take students across North Dakota to serve in four communities, visit college campuses and businesses, and explore state treasures, a news release stated.
Chamber staff, board members, area business representatives and college leaders will join the students.
The tour will focus on service, education and reflection, and will challenge the students to continue their leadership in their home communities, a news release said.
The Chamber’s Youth Leadership program is open to all local sophomore and juniors.
