Flynn Murray benefit set Sept. 20 in MoorheadA spaghetti dinner and silent auction benefit for Flynn Murray of Moorhead is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Sept. 20 at the Moorhead American Legion, 303 30th St. N.
Murray is returning to Moorhead after a car accident in March in Bozeman, Mont., that left her paralyzed from the chest down. She was attending college in Bozeman at the time of the accident.
She has been a patient at Craig Hospital in Denver for the past several months and is returning to Moorhead, where she will live with her parents.
Proceeds from the benefit will help defray medical expenses and help with improvements to her parents’ home.
Donations may also be made to the Flynn Murray Benefit Fund at any State Bank location.
