Beer burglary prompts request for public's help

GLYNDON, Minn. - A July beer burglary at the Buffalo River Race Park and Speedway has the Clay County Sheriff's Office asking for the public's help.

A news release issued today by Sheriff Bill Bergquist says the burglary happened late July 21 or early July 22.

Multiple items were taken, including eight cases of Coors Light and four cases of Michelob Golden Light. The burglars also made off with numerous sweatshirts, baseball hats and a stereo system, Bergquist said in the release.

Investigators hope a dollar bill left behind the suspects will help identify the suspects.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to contact Clay County Det. Jason Hicks at (218)299-5151.

Tipsters will be allowed to remain anonymous, the release said.
