Sobriety checkpoint nets three DUI arrestsFARGO – Police here arrested three people for driving under the influence during a sobriety checkpoint overnight.
A total of 385 vehicles drove through the checkpoint, conducted from 11:13 p.m. Thursday to 2:20 a.m. today in the 2300 block of South University Drive.
Seventeen vehicles were flagged for further testing, according to Sgt. Mike Bernier.
The Fargo Police Department, Cass County Sheriff’s Office, North Dakota Highway Patrol and North Dakota State University police conducted the checkpoint.
Fargo police have conducted 41 sobriety checkpoints since October 2004, resulting in 127 DUI arrests.
