Oxbow's Amy Anderson wins in first round of US Junior match play

BEDMINSTER, N.J. – Amy Anderson of Oxbow, N.D., advanced out of the first round of match play at the U.S. Girls Junior Championship golf tournament today.

Anderson defeated Harin Lee of Bayside, N.Y., 4 and 3 to move on to the round of 32.

Anderson will play again Thursday morning and will play a second match Thursday afternoon if she wins in the morning.

Anderson was the No. 1 qualifier in the tournament, firing a 36-hole score of 141.
