Franken’s staff to hold constituent meetingsNew Sen. Al Franken may be involved in Supreme Court justice nomination hearings this week, but his staff is on the road.
The Minnesota Democrat’s staff will hold 66 “open office” sessions around Minnesota in the next three weeks.
Minnesotans may visit with Franken’s staff about nearly any federal government issue.
On top of many scheduled meetings in southeast Minnesota this week, area meetings include:
- 8:30-10:30 a.m., Thursday, Minnesota State University Moorhead Union, Room 203, Moorhead
- Noon to 2 p.m., Thursday, conference chambers, City Administrator Building, 1025 Roosevelt Ave., Detroit Lakes
- 3:30-5 p.m., Thursday, City Hall, 112 W. Washington Ave., Fergus Falls.
