Woodside sees action in Summer League gameOne day after sitting on the bench for an entire game, Ben Woodside played for more than eight minutes Monday when the Minnesota Timberwolves lost to the D-League Select team 96-91 in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
Hoping to get signed by an NBA team as a free agent, Woodside scored one point, making one of two free throws, had one assist and one steal in his 8 minutes, 29 seconds of playing time.
Woodside did not play in Sunday’s 79-65 loss to Houston.
The Timberwolves were led in scoring by recently drafted Wayne Ellington who had 19 points and Jon Flynn who had 12.
The Timberwolves next game is Friday against Washington.
