Man injured in Clay County Fair demolition derbyBARNESVILLE, Minn. – A man injured in a demolition derby Friday night was transported by LifeFlight to MeritCare Hospital in Fargo.
The accident happened around 7:15 p.m. during the Clay County Fair in Barnesville.
Clay County Sheriff Bill Bergquist said a judge noticed the man slump down in his seat after his derby car and another car crashed into each other. The derby was stopped, and the man told the judge he couldn’t move.
Bergquist said authorities do not know the man’s name or condition.
