Lots of ways to spell ‘hypocrite’I read that Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty doesn’t think South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford’s indiscretion should be political. Sanford has been a pious, pompous member of the religious right, spouting his holier-than-thou pieties for quite some time. He was a big push for President Bill Clinton’s impeachment. Now presidential candidate Pawlenty is going on and on about how it should be left to Sanford and his family to deal with this and work it out. Anyone recall Pawlenty’s stance on Clinton?
The GOP is trying to do damage control to “reunite” their party. Just a typical neo-con stance. When it is one of their stalwarts, it doesn’t mean anything, but when it is a Democrat, Katy, bar the door! It just shows that there are many different ways to spell “hypocrite.”
