NDRC director Blaseg resignsNorth Dakota Racing Commission Director of Racing Randy Blaseg has resigned.
“I visited with him Monday and I told him basically that he was going to have to resign and he did,” NDRC Commission Chairman Pat Weir said.
Blaseg’s resignation was announced at a racing commission meeting on Tuesday, Weir said.
“There had been a lot of controversy about his job performance,” Weir said. “I think the commission just felt that we wanted to just go in a new direction.”
Blaseg was hired in late 2005.
