The great food is worth the noiseTwo hundred fifty people talking at once is going to be loud wherever you are. I happen to like the fun atmosphere of a place that is busy and exciting. If I want a quiet night out, then I go to a small, quiet place that takes reservations, or just go to the louder places earlier in the evening when it is much slower.
By altering your eating time to 5 p.m. instead of 7 p.m., you can get a much quieter environment – even in the busiest restaurants in town. You can even avoid a waiting list this way.
Either way, I happen to think that the great food is worth it.
