South Dakota Powerball ticket worth $200KPIERRE, S.D. (AP) - South Dakota Lottery officials say a Powerball ticket sold in Spearfish is worth $200,000.
The ticket matched the five white numbers, but not the red Powerball number to win the game's second prize.
Officials say it's the fourth time this year the prize has been won in South Dakota.
Lottery director Norm Lingle says the ticket holder should sign the back of the ticket immediately, put it in a safe place, and contact the Lottery office in Rapid City or Pierre to make arrangements to validate the ticket and claim the prize.
The winner has 180 days to claim the prize.
Powerball is played in 30 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
