Massey-Wheeler wins Mrs. North Dakota titleMrs. Bismarck, Toni Massey-Wheeler, has won the title of Mrs. North Dakota America 2009. She will compete in the nationally televised Mrs. America Pageant in September.
The state pageant was held June 7 at the Scottish Rites Grand Masonic Lodge of Fargo.
Wheeler also won the interview and evening gown competitions.
Sarah Matejcek, Mrs. Michigan, N.D., received the People’s Choice and Music Education Ambassador awards.
Throughout her year as Mrs. North Dakota America, Massey-Wheeler will share the message of keeping music education in schools through the National Association of Music Education and also will be the official ambassador for the Scottish Rites Speech and Learning Center.
She is married to Greg Wheeler and they have two children.
