9,300 lose power in West Fargo when dump truck clips power line

WEST FARGO – A dump truck clipped a power line, knocking out electricity to 9,341 Cass County Electric Co-op customers during the noon hour today, a spokeswoman said.

The co-op’s main power supplier substation went down at 12:05 p.m., spokes-woman Carrie Joyce said.

Power was restored by 12:27 p.m., she said.

Most of the affected customers were in West Fargo, although some Fargo cus-tomers also were affected.
