Minnesota state parks offer free admission SundayST. PAUL - Minnesota state parks are offering free admission and other special programs Sunday.
As part of their open house, the state parks will be handing out 15,000 environmentally friendly reusable bags, courtesy of Cub Foods.
The bags will contain the Minnesota State Parks Guide, courtesy of Touchstone Energy Cooperatives, a spring-summer programs and special events catalog, and a few other freebies.
In addition to highlighting what's new at the 72 state parks and recreation areas in Minnesota, this year's guide also includes energy-saving tips provided by Touchstone.
There will be free admission Sunday at all 26 Minnesota Historical Society sites and museums, too.
