3 critical after holiday weekend crashes in MinnesotaMINNEAPOLIS – A 2-year-old boy and two other people remain hospitalized with critical injuries after Memorial Day weekend accidents that killed 12 people in Minnesota.
Forty-three-year-old Rita M. Seha and 2-year-old Carter Newell were critically injured Saturday when the van they were in was struck in Olmsted County. Four people in the van died.
St. Marys Hospital in Rochester says Seha remained critical Monday, but would not give out any informa-tion about Carter. Both patients are from Rochester.
In Robbinsdale, 51-year-old John Hubers of Oak Grove remained in critical condition at North Memorial Medical Center. He was hurt in a head-on collision in Cass County on Saturday evening that killed his wife.
