Work begins on I-94 near Alice interchange

Work began Thursday on the Buffalo/Alice Interchange, Exit 314, on Interstate 94 west of Fargo.

The interchange will be closed to replace the bridge deck and repair a pier.

The project will affect north and southbound Cass County Highway 38 traffic traveling over the structure. Southbound traffic going east on I-94 will be detoured west to the Hill Interchange, Exit 310. Northbound traffic going west on I-94 will be detoured east to the Ayr Interchange, Exit 317.

When the deck is removed, both eastbound and westbound Interstate traffic will be detoured up and over the ramps during daylight hours.

The project is scheduled to be completed in the fall.
