Fargo Marathon helped raise funds for McDonald house

The Ronald McDonald House of the Red River Valley staff and board of directors would like to extend a special thank-you to the Fargo Marathon and the 41 gracious runners who donated a total of $358 through active giving.

On average, the Ronald McDonald House of the Red River Valley serves more than 1,000 family members per year, from North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota. Families who stay at the RMH are asked to pay $15 per night; however, no family is turned away due to the inability to pay. Actual cost to operate the RMH is approximately $85 per night.

The Ronald McDonald House relies solely on individual support to help families in need. Because of great programs such as the Fargo Marathon and Active Giving, the Ronald McDonald House families are able to concentrate on being with their family in times when being with family matters most.

Thank you again to the Fargo Marathon and runners. We truly appreciate your dedication and support.
