West Fargo students' European trip canceledWEST FARGO - West Fargo High School officials say 21 students are out $5,000 each for a planned trip in Europe this summer.
School officials say Worcester, Mass.-based Voyager Educational Tours filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy this week.
Suzanne Thibert says students in her class worked four years to save money for the summer tour of France, Italy and Switzerland. Thibert says the school was notified on Wednesday that the company filed for bankruptcy.
The students were supposed to leave for Europe June 2.
Principal Gary Clark says the students' money was probably used to cover the company's operating expenses.
