Fargo man already facing charges in two crimes arrested again

A Fargo man already charged with burglarizing a pharmacy in Fargo and breaking into a home in Moorhead in search of prescription medications was arrested again Wednesday on suspicion of burglarizing a garage in Fargo.

Corey Charles Lowe, 23, of Fargo was arrested about 1 p.m. Wednesday and is being held in the Cass County Jail pending a court appearance.

According to Fargo police Sgt. Mark Lykken:

A witness saw Lowe acting suspiciously and loitering in an apartment complex parking lot. The witness followed Lowe a short distance to a residence in the 1500 block of 22nd Avenue South.

Lowe knocked on the back door, and when no one answered, he went into the garage. He exited a short time later and again knocked on the back door. When no one answered, he went back into the garage. He exited a short time later and left the area on foot.

The witness used his cell phone to give police a description of Lowe, and officers located Lowe in the area and took him into custody.

Lowe was found with evidence, including collector coins and dollar bills, linking him to the burglary, Lykken said.

Lowe was previously charged in Cass County District Court with burglarizing the Dakota Clinic pharmacy in Fargo on Feb. 16.

Lowe also told police last November that he broke into a Moorhead home in search of prescription medication, according to court documents.

He faces burglary, theft and drug-related charges in Clay County District Court in connection with the Nov. 6, 2008, incident.

He told police he had a craving for prescription pills so he began driving around the area looking for houses that appeared to be empty.
