Al Franken won; it's time to move onIt is time to move on. We have had our election, we have had our recount, and Norm Coleman has had his day in court, and he will have his day at the Minnesota Supreme Court.
I believe the Minnesota State Supreme Court will agree with the three-judge panel: Al Franken won the election.
The election was fair and accurate; Franken won. Dragging this process out further is unconscionable. Most Minnesotans would like to move forward.
I have worked as an election judge in Minnesota for nearly 30 years, in Hennepin County initially, and now in Todd County. In all that time the thing that has impressed me the most is the dedication with which election judges perform their duties.
Former Sen. Coleman and Gov. Tim Pawlenty have an opportunity to truly serve the people of Minnesota. Coleman should concede, and Pawlenty should sign the election certificate. It is time to move on.
