Cobber women win 5-1 twice over St. Kate’s

Concordia pitchers held St. Catherine’s hitters to one run and three hits in both games of a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference softball doubleheader, winning 5-1 in both games.

The games were so similar, in fact, that St. Kate’s scored its only run in the fifth inning of both games.

Kesley Jones (11-13) and Erin Johnson (3-9) picked up the wins for the Cobbers.

Concordia’s Emily Jensen and Maddie Haroldson each went 3-for-6 on the afternoon, with Haroldson connecting for her third home run of the season.

The Cobbers end the regular season at 14-22 overall, 9-13 in the MIAC.
