Vikings receive a B-plusYou can’t help but be excited with the Minnesota Vikings draft, assuming (and it’s a big assumption) Percy Harvin stays out of trouble off the field.
The Vikings filled needs with their five picks in this weekend’s NFL draft, getting a big-play guy, a big offensive tackle and help in the defensive backfield.
Going with Harvin in the first round is a high risk, but could yield even higher rewards. Couple that with what appears to be a solid tackle falling to the Purple in the second round, and this draft looks like it could be a good one.
Of course, predicting draft success the day after it’s over is about as easy as predicting what level the Red River will reach every year.
Only time will tell.
